Hampshire Hogs

The Society celebrates its 50th event in 2008 when we play at Alresford on 2nd October.  It contributes over £1000 towards sponsoring the club's young cricketers and has over 80 paid-up members and over 40 more who play with the Society.  We believe that there are many Hogs, Hoggets, Hogget parents or Hog Associate members who would like to join us on the golf course.  We also welcome wives, partners and girl friends.  There is no need to be an expert golfer; we have many 'occasional golfers' with no official handicap.

GOLF DAYS 2008

 Each day costs £46 per member,
£50 for non-members and £43 for ladies

28th April - Corhampton

19th May - South Winchester

3rd September - Dummer

2nd October – Alresford:
The Open Championship, our 50th event,
to start at lunchtime and to be followed
by a celebration dinner

At each golf day there are prizes for

• the overall winner
• the winning team of three
• 1-18 handicap golfers
• 19-28 handicap golfers
• Nearest the Pin
• Longest Drive
• and, of course, the Ladies...

The day begins with bacon baps and coffee and, after the golf, there is a two-course lunch, at which we welcome supporters.

Membership of the Society is open to all Hogs and friends.  The current annual subscription is £10, payable by Direct Debit.
